Eyeko is a brand from the UK that I’ve recently discovered via some beauty blogs. They have a small but specialized range of products, all in very cute packaging.
My first Eyeko order was for two Liptastik lip pens and a Cheeky Color blush. The Petite Polish was a free gift using the code on the site. The order arrived in about two weeks with no problems. I look forward to trying some of their other products!
I’ll review the polish and blush in future posts, but for now I’ll talk about the Liptastik Glossy Lip Pens. I ordered two colors: Loud Mouth and Lip Lover.
Loud Mouth is a rose pink color while Lip Lover is a scarlet red.
On their site, Eyeko describes this as a liner, color, and gloss in one. These are definitely highly pigmented. In fact, you’ll probably have a little trouble keeping it from getting everywhere as it smudges like crazy. I suggest a lot of blotting after you apply it. One thing I do like is that even after most of the product wears off, it leaves a bit of color stain on your lips.
Overall, I do like the colors of the Liptastik pens, but I’m not really a fan of the smudging and the transfer. They do look nice after blotting, though.
Alternatively, you can also use these as a cream blush. I just used my fingertips to apply to color on my cheeks and rubbed it in. Looked great!
