I started wearing makeup when I was 15 years old. My first palette was from Avon, a half-used set of six eye shadows in sparkly, bright colors (including purple and blue) donated by my mom. More than a decade later, I'm happy to say that my selection and technique are vastly improved. I still mess up now and then, but that's part of the fun of trying something new.
The eyes are my favorite—I love dark colors and dramatic eyes (...and I still have purple and blue)—but I'm trying to expand to other products and learn how to use them properly.
Besides makeup, I enjoy reading, hiking, combat sports, and afternoon tea.
