Bruno the Garbage Man
From: Sesame Street Fabric Swatch(s): N/A Dan wanted to be Oscar the Grouch…but I swore I was never going to make a 6'4" fuzzy costume again. So we compromised. I made a small furry Oscar and he was Bruno the Garbage man. He carried him around (some of the time) in a garbage can. Haha. It was cute. This costume was easy - all his own clothes and I painted a garbage can silver (couldn't find a metal one ANYWHERE). And I made a patch that said "Bruno" on it for his shirt. Easy Peasy. Favorite part: The Oscar the Grouch. He was about the size of a two year old - I made him with the pattern from my nephew's Flying Monkey costume. Heh.
