Dan's cousin and his girlfriend flew up from DC to attend out party this year and they needed costumes. A friend of hers suggested being a "Devil-ed Egg", meaning dress as an egg with devil horns and a tail. I offered to make the costume for her.

I made the "egg" out of white muslin and quilt batting and Velcro. Basically there were two egg shaped pieces of fabric for each side, they were sewn together, then stuff with batting. They were attached at the shoulder with ribbons, and then the arm holes were open, then under the arms were flaps that were velcro'd to the back, and of course, leg holes.

The devil accouterments were purchased from a Halloween store.

Favorite part: Blair looked very cute!

Least favorite part: there was less egg shape than I had hoped, but it came out pretty good
