Queen of Hearts

This is a stylized version of the Queen of Hearts based on the illustrations by John Tenniel. It was less busy than it should have been, but time and money always make constraints. Plus materials. It's always a craps shoot to find what you want/need! HA!

Favorite part: The corset was pretty cool, although the grommets have fallen out from wear and tear. The headpiece was cool, too. You can do wonders with poster board and fabric!

Least favorite part: Putting in the grommets - even Dan had a hard time punching the things in! Also, I sewed the border of the hem on by hand - a little tedious, although I can do anything as long as there is a movie on in front of me!
