I Dream of Jeanie

This was my second Halloween costume attempt. It came out fairly well, although the sewing machine I had at the time did not like the fabric I chose. I ended up having to buy a pink shirt because I couldn't take fighting with the fabric anymore. At least I got the pants done! In 2007 my sister Kim dusted off the 'ole I Dream of Jeanie costume and wore
it to my party, and also out bar hopping. Kim has a to die for figure, so she
went with a pink bra under the vest, instead of the shirt. She also got some
Hannah Montana hair (that being the only hair piece she could find at the time)
to stick out of the top of the hat. She dug it out again for bar hopping in
2008. Favorite part: the hat, even though the scarf was too dark. I used plastic cone you would make angel tree toppers with and cut off the point. I think it came out great! Least favorite part: the scarf on the hat and the yoke of the pants. I wanted to make the costume look just like the movie, so I had to alter the costume. It was my first time doing that, so there was a lot of experimenting. Also, I didn't have the genie bottle. :( Pictures:
