Here we are with the Grim Reaper costume again, although much modified. The sleeves were hacked off to the wrist and about calf-length to reflect the movie. The cape was also lined - black in the body and the green & blue respectively for the hoods. The colored lining could probably have been used throughout, but again with the materials. I needed 10 yards of fabric for the costume (a lot was cut off, too. grr) and there just wasn't enough, so I went with the black. They turned out quite nicely, though! Favorite part: The overall result was worth all the pain. I thought they looked quite sharp! Least favorite part: Lining it. That's two robes per costume - four all together, since I made them both at the same time. Also, they were for friends in Cali, so I didn't have them to do fittings, so there was a lot of guesswork. I had a lot of "mannequins" to help me, though. Haha. Pictures:
