My nephew Dylan was born in December, 2006, so I wanted to try a flannel quilt. I was NOT going to do another card trick quilt. So I found a free pattern online that was fairly simple, and decided on the four-patch. I did alternate the four-patch with a solid color, though. It was too much pattern, otherwise. I also made it HUGE. Much bigger than I intended, but I had the fabric (and still have a ton) so I went ahead and did it.

Favorite part: it was SO soft!

Least favorite part: I almost didn't have enough fabric for the back - as it was, I had to make the back look like a very big four-patch block to have enough!
